Jessica Rabbit from "Who framed Roger Rabbit" forThis is pure fan art
I studied Animation about ten years ago and Jessica brought me right back !I really wanted the piece to look like the film, with a gritty background and cool clean cell shaded character.
I found a screenshot online and that was it, I just wanted to draw it !!

Yeah, i did animation in Dublin after i left school, didn't really like it(the animation, not the course), i was into drawing comics but learned a hell of alot of stuff from the teachers who used to work in the industry.

btw...cold u be really kind and explain to me what cell-shading is? I've seen it around a lot, and have NO idea what it is

Yeah, was considering it waaay back after secondary, but got the impression it's not that creative or fun (but lotsa repetition), unless u r one of the topdogs...but chances of that...
But still, lucky u to get to soak knowledge from pro's -bet it's usable anyways

Yep you hit the nail on the head about animation. If you look at the likes of Ben10 they were comic book creators before they got into animation. I much prefer comics
