Description
High resolution sprites of Toad, closer in design to the eighth gen games with the Paper Mario name and others.Though I created this spriteset in Artstudio Pro like with the Mario recreation, this is a different version of a character I already did. On top of further testing the limits of the app, there was another reason for me going against my nature recreating the most infamous part of the eighth gen games. The reason- I wanted the female sprites to closely (though still not exactly) resemble the apron wearing ones from the Mario & Luigi remakes, since it implies aprons are officially greenlit by Nintendo for female Toad designs.
Another change from my personal custom is the shroom caps are not attached to the main heads. I made the alteration for the sake of easier customization. ...In hindsight, I should have done this for my previous Toad custom and every sprite derived from it. Oh well- as they say, hindsight is 2020.
As with IOS Paper Mario, I already posted the sprites above to discord and the Paper Mario subreddit earlier this week.
