Description
Sprites and disassembly for the Paper Mario Color Splash version of Wendy O Koopa, one of Bowser's seven Koopaling generals in the Super Mario Bros. series. This was a request by LooneyTunerIan.In Paper Mario Color Splash, Wendy guards a Big Paint Star on a mini island located within Prism Island's legal territory. As she waits for Mario, she snoozes for a bit inside a clam. Eventually, Mario and Huey find her asleep. Jolted awake, a rhythmic battle begins. Mario soon finds out an old phrase is true- when you pinch Wendy's pennies, they pinch back.
In the fangame topic recut of Color Splash, Wendy still guards her Grand Paint Star under the same circumstances, making her one of the only two Koopalings that's still a chapter boss. Even after her battle, Wendy plays a bit more of a role in later parts of the recut.
Regardless, Wendy's particular boss role in Color Splash makes her similar in some ways to both Cortez from The Thousand Year Door and Gooper Blooper from Sticker Star [Recut].
