It looks like you selected a fragment of the figure and painted just that. Kind of abstract,, it would be cool if there were something significant in that fragment

Thanks for your comment. There is indeed great significance in the mid-section of a figure. Many beliefs root the strength or essence there. Not only that, but I often do not approach my figures with an "all over" treatment, rather allowing tension to pull in and out of the surface.
