I have to tell you, your work is one of the best I've seen - I love it!
You have this ability to capture the feel and movement of the figure with seemingly slap dash strokes - I'm sure they're not slap dash, but looking at your pieces I imagine you leisurely throwing the paint on, free and relaxed ...
I'm just getting into the painting thing, I'm actually psyching myself up to attack oils (only played with acrylic so far) and looking at your work inspires me to approach it in new ways.

thank you very much and i certainly will keep it up. i'm glad i can help out. actually i do paint in a very free and relaxed way (that's one of the things i'm striving most to accomplish) but that is really easier said than done. its our first instinct to paint in a very cautious way, but i'm trying to really stay loose and honest. if you get the time, read the statements i've posted. thanks again!
