Wow! Well I can see a Michelangelo influence in all your work, but this one I have to say has something extra. Not only are you lucky enough to have a gorgeous model but you also have some very well honed skills. Your life drawing is extremely well observed and yet it still has a life and energy to it because of your tecnique. I do get the feeling (correct me if i'm wrong) that you have photoshoped this to erase marks around the figure? To be honest i would love to see some background, rarther than seeing the figure hanging in space... but thats just me. It's all down to your personal style in the end.

Thanks for the comments. To be honest I dont mess with the drawings in photoshop. I lighten them up a bit if the pic is too dark. You're not the only one to suggest a background. I agree that it would probably be easier to look at. My main reason for not putting a background in is because my work isn't a window into a room or a scene. Its a documentation of the figure, the relationship between artist and model, and my responses to the human form. I try to boil my work down to its most essential aspects and to me that is the figure alone.

Thanks again!

these are all beautiful. this is for school right? what program is it for?
i'm going for my bachelor of applied arts degree for illustration next year and i know it involves a lot of figure study and life drawing.
