Description This is my most complicated Photoshop piece to date, with over 7,700 layers and a total file size of 2.2GB.

I've been receiving a lot of questions about how I manage 7000+ layers, so here's a bit of background: 7700 is the total number of layers if you add them all up from the many documents that comprise the final piece. The way I approached it is by creating the pieces individually and saving them into separate canvas groups, then importing each component as flattened graphics into the final canvas. By doing this I was able to keep the master file down to about 800 layers. If I had kept all the layers intact for each itty bitty component, I would have had to manage the 7700 layers in one canvas, which would probably have melted my computer.

Much obliged good sir. 7000 is the total number of layers if you add them all up from the many documents that comprise the final piece.
