Magnetic is a web company that has beautiful natural surroundings, located on a lake and wildlife preserve, so I really wanted to reflect that in the design (the turtle is actually one of the many that hangs around the office).The site has a day/night script that automatically detects the time and switches themes accordingly. You can also switch it manually using the sun/moon icons at top-right.

How was Herb. I like his stuff, but I always wonder what the artist of some things are like. I have met a few artist, some of them were down to earth, and some were, well let's just say, a little out of sink with reality.

got since some months Adobe Flash did search alot for tutorials also here but the point i wanna tell you is that your page is realy detailed and very cool. Did never saw any idea with day-night effect since WorldofWarcraft did put that feature in the game. Realy interesting. Pure inspiration. Can you maybe show me the right way by learning? On what should i work first. What do i have to learn first?
I dont want to annoy you but tit would be nice if someone could give me an advice.

Thanks, not sure what you mean by lighting effects, but the whole site is built in Flash, even though many of the elements were created in Photoshop and imported as PNGs for animation.

This is gorgeous. I really do enjoy flash on sites that aren't too use-heavy, they're quite hard to get right. (That balance between being able to do too much too easily, and needing to keep it clean enough to get info across) Truely gorgeous, I'm sad that it doesn't work on my Firefox@Ubuntu. I'll try to remember to check the site out at work instead.
