Alrighty, I've had a busy two weeks and started back up on an old commission for LeonAstreal with this first munition concept.

This is a 9x39mm intermediate cartridge with a standard flight projectile. (It goes out the barrel as one unit in a straight line)
The back casing houses both the blast cap and micro electronics used to ignite the air-burst explosive in the front cap.
The front cap is an extremely high density polymer with a poly-carbonate base casing.
Thanks to the small but heavy duty explosive in the cap, the max blast radius is 1 meter or approx 6.5 feet in diameter to fully incapacitate any size of individual.

Modeling and rendering done in Fusion 360. More beauty shots will probably come but for now I'm sticking with modeling the other munition concepts.

Other ideas I have offered that are in progress:
-In-flight guided subsonic rounds similar to the DARPA project but have velocity dampeners that flip out before they hit the target. (otherwise they would penetrate)
-Two stage supersonic or subsonic rocket round that explodes with a non-lethal air-burst.
