Here we have a rare sight, an unusual specimen out of it's usual habitat. The rare pear shark seen here can be coaxed out of hiding with a meal offer ranging from fish to cake and anything between. The pear shark we've coaxed out of it's comfort zone is a female. As noted by it's wider lower body and it's rather unusual habit of smiling when cornered.

Though the wider lower body is a trait shared across the group, different species of Pear Sharks come in various shapes and sizes. For example, Pear Sharks of the Mako variety are short in stature, and are easily identified by the dorsal fin on their heads and their long finned tails.
