It's so fun to read and I am always curious for the next page. Your art style has improved over the pages and I can see how much you as an artist enjoy drawing it. You add shades and effects to make the pages look more appealing and you concentrate on their feelings by showing their facial expressions or make close-up of their faces (e.g. Ghirahims mouth and tongue) and even add highlights (e.g. shining lips, blood).
You are not trying to make a perfect doujinshi. You are having fun with your shipping and try to create something and show us what kind of ideas you have in mind.This doujinshi already has over 50 pages which is INCREDIBLE. So many artists cancel their doujinshi once they feel the pressure to finish the next page. But you're still on it. You're still having fun with Ghirahim and Link. And THIS is the most important thing about art. Enjoy what you do. Don't let others bring you down and don't listen to them simply because they want something else to happen. This is your work and I, as a Ghiralink fan, find it very enjoyable and exciting.
I just felt that I needed to say this since I saw someone complaining about the plot. Personally, I am here to see interactions between Link and Ghirahim. (I didn't really care that much for plot development as I was looking for a doujinshi to see some Ghiralink. I'm here to consume Ghiralink, lol. xD) Moreover the doujinshi didn't really start yet so I don't really understand why people would complain about the plot. I have read all the pages and as far as I can judge it all the pages take place on the same day. It's not like that you have drawn million of pages of Ghirahim torturing Link. It was mentioned, yes, but it wasn't shown to us yet. And even more importantly if those people who complained would have taken a good look at all the pages they would see that some pages only have two panels where you focus on certain scenes.
Putting it all together, the story is still in the beginning. Personally, I think we just got over the prologue and that the actual plot will happen later once the story progresses. So I think it's not fair towards you to criticize you considering that it looks like that you are still working on this and thinking about the plot. It's nowhere finished and judging a work that isn't even completed yet doesn't make sense. It's like a pupil writing a test and the teacher takes his test away before he even started and gives him a bad mark without even giving him the chance to finish. :/
I just hope that the negative critique from before isn't frustrating you too much and that you keep going drawing this. This is not a bad doujinshi. There are many people who enjoy this. I am one of the people who read this because they're interested in seeing Ghiralink so I hope that you'll continue drawing this and enjoy Ghiralink, sharing your thoughts with us.

aw thanks man, this really genuinely means a lot to me. Like I can't even tell you. I see you read that guys comments, eh? haha but its ok, to each their own. But I am just happy most people enjoy it. And you summed up a lot of what I was unable to articulate! It is very much in the early stages (though god knows if I will really be able to 'finish' it haha). This comic has helped me keep working on art where otherwise I wouldn't be doing it at all, and I am learning a lot with it, its one of the few things I have been able to keep working on for an extended period of time. Of course it is very flawed (especially in the sequential story telling haha flashbacks upon flashbacks xp) but it is fun and people seem to enjoy it, so thats all that matters~!

I know I'm not part of this conversation, but I can't help but absolutely appalled and insulted on behalf of derpPlanet by how incredibly rude you are. I don't know who made you author/artist of the year that gives you the right to go around stomping all over other people's stuff. But how about you just back off to your own corner of deviantart and focus on improving your own work. It probably needs it.
