Description
I'm not sure if there is a stamp of this somewhere but the point is i'm sick of people who can't read the artist's comments. Its there for a reason, people. and i'm tired of people asking which anime my OCs are, when i clearly stated that the characters belong to me and all
seriously.

Something like that happened to me but it was for language. I drew a pic that I gave a Spanish name and in the Artist's comments I said, "Yo no hablo espaΓ±ol muy bien." and before you know it, three of them commented in Spanish. I had to search it up. That's a big waste of my time.

Everything in life is this way, I'm sure. If you're a professor, you can pretty much count on a quarter of the students not reading the assignment instructions fully or carefully.

Amen to that
Yeah examples Iβve seen:
1. Artist: I forgot to paint the dogβs ear, Iβll do it later.
Watcher: You forgot to paint the dogβs ear.
2. Artist: The scar in her eyes is a result of a childhood accident.
Watcher: Why does she have a scar in her eye?
3. Artist: Thereβs no particular reason why I gave him a silly hat. Itβs a random thing I did for the LOLs.
Watcher: Why is he wearing that hat?

That's because alot of people just drag and drop the pics in their messages to their faves without even clicking on them

I've always read them, even before I joined.it does annoy me say,I have a collab up,and they thank me for it and don't look at her part or thank her for it and don't thank me on my part.

i usually wouldn't agree with a stamp that is so angry, but this particular one is just so true- particularly on dA.
People ask stupid questions when the answer is clearly in the comments, then feel insulted that you don't answer
gets on my nerves when they're like "she's so cute" when you stress in the comments "it's a BOY!!!!!"

I've had that happen to me. Granted, the person didn't actually look at the picture, and he does kinda have girly hair.

This is so true. I get this almost every time I post something that it's not even funny. Every time someone asks me a question that was clearly answered in my AC, I just do this:

Oh wshew, I thought you were talking about having people leave comments. I would never do that.
And thank you for censoring it. Just... yes.

its just laziness
and for that matter, whys it so hard to leave a comment when you fav something?
π: 0 β©: 3
TyFell In reply to DecoPinkDingo [2010-12-31 17:02:26 +0000 UTC]
because, unless I see something I have to comment on,I view hundreds of pics and story's a day,so how can I come up with that amount of time?

so do i but i dont fav evey single one.
and really "wow i love the colors. the composition is fantastic" took me oh..4 seconds? if you know why you like it, commenting is easy. if you dont know why you like it, why are you faving it?

In all fairness, at times, there's just nothing to say other than "cool" or "Nice pic" I mean, usually, if I fav something, I like it so much, my comment is an entire paragraph. But, I don't see too much of a reason to bother commenting if all you can come up with is two or three words. But then, why fav it at all?

DecoPinkDingo In reply to CrayolaColours [2010-12-31 16:23:03 +0000 UTC]
right, if all i can come up with it 2 words its probably not something i'd fav

not everyone has the time, or even wants to.
nor are they obligated to.
artists should be thankful to get a fave, let alone a comment.

the time? it takes like a minute TOPS to write a fair comment.
just because you dont have to do something does not mean you shouldnt do it
and lastly, no one said they werent. but a comment is still nice

Lyn-Zo In reply to DecoPinkDingo [2010-12-31 16:46:25 +0000 UTC]
sure, for one deviation maybe. but when you have hundreds of deviations a day to filter through and look for, that 'one' minute really adds up, and I don't have time for that.

DecoPinkDingo In reply to Lyn-Zo [2011-01-02 23:26:03 +0000 UTC]

π: 0 β©: 1
Lyn-Zo In reply to DecoPinkDingo [2011-01-02 23:29:17 +0000 UTC]
haha, no...
i do fave quite often though. anything that catches my eye, I fave.
i usually only comment on deviations made by friends, or if i'm not in any rush to get off the computer.
