Sigrun, the 'femme fatale' of authority, skirted the fields where little lay, aside from the freshly fallen snow. It was barren where summer's grasses had left, so the ice bit at her thickly padded feet. She meandered on, despite the gnawing of cold, it didn't bother her intensely. This was a place where not too many went 'lest they wanted to be alone to think, Sigrun among the few to do so. She fancied the opportunity to gather her thoughts, however, her mind wandered to worry about those she loved very quickly. She could never catch a break.
The breeze, once flowing north, began to gust southward, bellowing the young female in the face, ruffling the scrap of pelt she had donned around her neck. With the wind came scents of the pine that lay far away from her position, as well as the dried grasses and the sweetness of the snow she stood upon. This change of winds also revealed the scent of another Felvarg in the area, and a fresh one at that. Her ears flicked forwards, and she squinted her eyes against the harshness of the horizon, gazing around herself in an attempt to see the other before they saw her. Her mind danced from her close ones to concern for herself, she did not enjoy the idea of being unaware of another's company, much less potentially followed.
The blankness of the surrounding area made her feel small, but not uncomfortable, though the presence of another, unforeseen Felvarg made her hackles raise. She continued to scan the area, keeping a keen ear for the sound of brush being tred upon. Alas, a *crunch* did meet her expectant ears, to which she thrust her head into that direction. Her eyes met a terribly hidden silhouette among the tundra's weeds she had once already overlooked.
With this new information, she flicked her tail in a fierce motion, further drawing the attention, and curiosity, of the unknown Felvarg. Now they were both aware of one another, and the serenity of the location cracked into an awkward and tense scene.
The limber female belted out a concise warning, wry but unafraid. With this, the form approached, standing a good dozen yards away, respectfully.
"Do not be nervous, I am Genau," said the new presence, steadily watching her with his warm, honey toned eyes.
"And I, Sigrun. What is it you want?" She countered, her renowned fierceness in her voice. Her eyes met his gaze, had her beauty not already gotten all of his attention, the amethyst coloration of her eyes surely did. He could not bring himself to fail her invigorating stare.

Genau, a reckless young male regarded Sigrun with a glint in his eye and a wave of his tail. The last thing behavior he exhibited was anything of aggression. His demeanor was calm and approachable, head lowered, but not submissively. He held his tail loosely, with a wag making him bump his hocks every now and again.
The two stood staring at one another, and Sigrun began to relax. Though the male was strange, she sensed his motives were pure, albeit naive, but not ill intended.
The mahogany male spoke, voice confident but not overpoweringly, a loose smile on his face, "I was meaning to surprise you, but it seems you've surprised me." Sigrun made a cringe in regard to Genau's words, but she heard him out, interested sheerly because she hadn't detected him sooner.
"Don't you know it's rude to sneak up on others?" She retorted with a slight chuckle at the end. The bachelor's ears pivoted, listening closely to the clarity of Sigrun's voice, almost like a crisp bell, melancholic in a way.
"No one taught me any better." Genau sneezed, 'I can't help but notice you seem alone, so close to Valentines. Surely a sweet gal like yourself has one to spend the day with?"
Detecting Genau's sarcasm, Sigrun guffawed, flashing her pearl'd teeth in his direction. "You don't say," She offered, her tail lowered and brisking the softness of the snow with it in a rhythmic way.
"I felt the need to follow you, in order to give you this," Genau proposed, retreating quickly to the shelter of the dead grasses he had once hid among. Shortly, he reappeared, his mouth firmly holding a boisterously vibrant rose between his teeth. It was bizarre to see such a brilliant red against the stark coolness of the snow, especially at such a time of the year, but Sigrun was touched.  It certainly was a lovely gesture, she thought to herself.
Head tilted slightly, Genau approached her, remaining a yard or two away, allowing her to either freely leave or to accept his gift. His eyes seemed youthful and steady, his tail remained loose but softly whisking to and fro in a slow beat. Flicking an ear backward, Sigrun stared at the male, vexed by his behavior, but also entranced with the beautiful rose. She stepped forward, cautiously, her curiosity as intense as the rose he held between his tight jaws. The fellow had such strange timing, but the sweet surprise warmed her, almost cutting through the bite of cold that lay underneath her freezing pads.
She returned the approach with a kind gait, and welcomed the rose into her own mouth, grasping it gently from his, a giddiness building in her stomach. Shortly thereafter, the scent of the fragrant flower nearly overpowered her senses, she had never experienced a more perfumed anything in her twenty-five years of life. It struck her off-guard, the scent itself and just to be receiving such a prize from a complete stranger.
"Thank you," she said without opening her jaws as to not drop the gentleman's present, her eyes gleamed in his direction.
"Without a second thought," He said with a softness in his voice, obviously his confidence had been taken down a notch or two and replaced with a shyness now. They stayed in their closeness for a solid moment or two, close enough to feel one another's mutual warmth, whether it be solely from their own pelts or their pleasant surprise with one another.
The air around them very still, and the sun sinking lower and lower in the sky. Their breaths mingled in the fading light, and that was all. He turned on his heels, and trotted away, tail wavering as he made his leave, leaving Sigrun alone once again. Hopefully, this time, with a happier connotation.

Alone again, Sigrun made note of Genau's departure, further interested in the peculiar Felvarg. His image burned into her thoughts, where she had piqued his interest, he began to pique hers. He had gone just as swiftly as he had arrived, but she knew it would not be the last she saw of him, especially if she had any say in the matter. Perhaps they would meet again, she hoped it would be soon, as she wanted to return his token with her own. With their encounter still fresh in her mind, Sig decided to begin the trek home, as the area would only grow in its coldness.

Despite the fierce grasp of the lingering winter, their encounter kept her warm the whole way home.

I'm flattered you liked it so much! I'm really rusty when it comes to writing but I really wanted to get some of those valentines achievements to you ASAP!
And I totally forgot the mentor trait allocated +2 EXP, what a pleasant surprise!
Were there any specific valentines achievements you wanted for your remaining two activities?

I super appreciate that! You are so kind <3 I really love this story. I had my fiance read it too because I was like "OMG LOOK AT THIS EPIC STORY ABOUT SIGGI!" Hehe
Yes! It's a nice little bonus exp

Gosh, I am not sure. I wouldn't mind going after the other two achievements available but don't feel obligated;
For Sigrun, I think her favorite thing is raw Amethyst stones, like this: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
I had an idea to do Earendel with space/stars because that's her biggest love. But really this is me just throwing ideas at you.

Really most of all, I think whatever you want to draw/write is going to be great and I will love it. I am really open! I would rather you have fun with it and not be restricted.
