In spanish, Sailor Uranus' attack was translated as "Tierra, tiembla", which I always thought sounded incredibly cool. I mean, "Earth, shatter/tremble" has something great about it (also, the actress dubbing it made an awesome job at it).Anyway, back to the drawing itself, I was asked to take part on this Sailor Moon Tribute/Art Show/Thingie. I picked Haruka as my guinea pig, so here it is ^^ (for those in Buenos Aires, the show will take place during the Jornadas del Manga y el Γnime, on November 10th and 11th). In french Uranus's attack was translated as "fireball, burn!" ... and sounded incredibly stupid (it's a fireball, of course it will burn!) XD

hahaha, translations do that (world shaking literal translation in spanish should have been "sacudida al mundo" instead of "tierra tiembla", so I was kind of surprised to find out that was the original name of the attack, I was expecting the "earth, shatter!" scream XD)

That sounds really cool. In german, the attacks of the outer senshi were quite boring. They just said "Uranus/neptune/Pluto ... flieg" which just means "Uranus/... fly." ... meh! I always wished for a better translation

That's such a shame, all the outers have this really nicely named attacks, I mean, they are lot more "attack-oriented" than, I don't know, "venus love me chain" . But well, that's the charm of translation, it's full of surprises XD
