i make some changes from the original concept by Adrian, dont think will get chance to go through to the final stage,
My tasked with making a game box cover or movie poster base on the original sketch by Adrian, need to change the demon pose, compositions, background story and color...anyway would like to share the artwork here...

Great work.Β How do you start with coloring? Do you always start with desaturated colors? Or do you use bright colors, then later desaturate them? I can't imagine myself choosing a dark brown color for a woman like you've created.Β You pulled it off well, but I hope you can give some coloring advice.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I started it with black and white toning, to get the lighting and value correct, then I will overlap a color texture on my painting to paint out the overlall color. Normally, i will make it as soft light or overlay blending mode. Hope it will help
