How can such an badass character have such a stupid, useless Final Smash.....

ChromaColors In reply to ABCDEFR [2012-05-20 03:18:01 +0000 UTC]

As far as I can tell, it effects all enemies no matter where they are standing, damages, makes items for Kirby to use, and launches the enemies. Seems really useful to me!

Yeah but its more of a "Big Finale" than a "N00bs-bewar-because-this-a-instant-ko!!!!". You actually have to do some fighting. I guess it isn't a Final Smash for the lazy.

Once your foes accumulate enough damage the Final Smash will finish them off easily, which leaves the results of the cooking show for Kirby and his partner to gobble up while the enemy is busy waiting for their character to return to the stage. It is indeed the Smash that rewards patience. Of course, other Smashes have different strategies. It is recommended that you get the Land Master for Fox, Falco and Wolf under your enemy so that you can send them over the top of the screen (and make sure you avoid using it in the Yoshi's Island stage). Jigglypuff's Smash is best for smaller stages. It all depends on your strategy.

Too true.

While I'm speaking to Jesus of SSBB,any idea on how to even work Diddy Kong's? He's my favorite character to play as but I have a better chance of dying than my oppenent.

And I'm guessing his strategy would be a mirror to Yoshi's too, now that I think about it. Is that going in a good direction?

Diddy is a small, lightweight fighter, so he has more of a chance of being launched. His strengths lie in fast attacks with decent power, agility, long grabbing range, long attack range with his Popgun, long grab range, excellent aerial recovery, good d-air meteor smash, and surprisingly strong throws. His bananas can tear down any defense by slipping opponents. Diddy can also recover health by eating the peanuts that are sometimes produced by his popgun. His high moving speed, ability to wall jump, and excellent recovery can allow for him to run circles around his opponents.

Like I said, Diddy is small and light, so he can get flung off a stage fairly easily. His bananas can be used against hima dn the peanuts can be eaten by his enemies. His rocketbarrel boost can be easily interrupted due to the slow charge and while charging for a long period of time he falls. If Diddy hits something when using his rocketbarrels, he takes a little bit of damage. Thankfully, if Diddy is struck, the barrels become unblockable projectiles that explode.

Did you know that Sonic at one point did not have a place in the tier list? That was because of his unpredictable nature due to how many of his attacks resemble one another, which made him an expert at confusion fu. However, he eventually made 22nd for his lightweight nature, surprisingly slow attacks, lack of ranged attacks, and low number of killing moves.

I actually did know that last part, but I never knew why.I always thought that he was 22nd because he is one of the only characters you can spam your special moves and Nintendo secretly hates the idea of Sonic in any of their games, let alone a history making game series XDD.

But what I don't get is, Mario has a whole section with people from his series (including Yoshi because his series was just a big prequel to the Mario games), DK has Diddy, Kirby has Meta Knight and King Dedede, Link has Zelda and Ganondorf,Pikachu has Jigglypuff,Lucario and Pokemon Trainer,Fox has Falco and Wolf,Ike has Marth (I miss Roy ), and everyone else is either new, or the Videogame has only one main character (with exceptionof Mr.Game and Watch), but Samus has no back-up!

How the hell three (about to become four) games, have a badass character appear in every single one and not give her an extra teammate! I mean COME ON.No one would care if you put a remake of her in and say 'Its dark Samus .___.', just give me another character!!! Well to be honest,I am very pleased with the Zero-Suit Samus insert, but its still her...

I don't remember there being any other playables in Metroid.

ABCDEFR In reply to ChromaColors [2012-05-25 03:03:30 +0000 UTC]

You are probably right. But I do know there is more than two main charaters. Maybe we could play as that brain thingy....

I forgot its name. I know its not Metroid but I wanna say that so badly.

Lets just say "Mother Brain".

Ridley perhaps? But he's way too big. How about young Ridley from another M?

Its like a really big brain inside of a jelly fish....

You know....the mascot of Metroid....

Man, I think I need to do my homework too!

ChromaColors In reply to ABCDEFR [2012-05-25 21:38:11 +0000 UTC]

I looked up young Ridley and found that his real name is Mystery Creature. The Mystery Creature transforms into Ridley in Another M.

ChromaColors In reply to ABCDEFR [2012-05-26 13:49:27 +0000 UTC]

So that could be another Metroid playable. I never saw the Mystery Creature in action before, so I cannot say what its fighting style would be.

ABCDEFR In reply to ChromaColors [2012-05-29 18:01:03 +0000 UTC]

Lol, its final smash would be "Imma firing mah lazah!!!!".

A very strategic melee move where Mystery Creature would eat the nearest person and kill itself. Costs one life if you are playing with lives, or a one point SD (even if you are playing to where SDs are two points).

Compared to Zero-Suit Samus' Final Smash, its pretty much worth it because you can't block it. Unless you used a final smash at the same time, but I doubt the game's item pattern woud allow that...
