"As I told you, your spine is still not reacting as we hoped. We decided the stabilization of your lower back would be the best course of action. Normally, this would mean extending your minerva cast over your hips to the upper thighs, thus immobilizing your pelvis, but leaving the knees and lower legs free to allow for some mobility. But in your case, since youΒ unfortunately broke your legs, the cast ended up somewhat larger, which will make movement even more difficult. Good idea to connect the casts in this critical area of the lower spine! β This minervacast gives plenty of room for movement because the back of the head is not included in the cast. I hope that there's no pressure on the ears, another disadvantage of this simple way to create a minervacast with wide bandages (4 or 5 inches). Earholes in combination with a smaller face window will be more efficient in immobilising the head and cervical spine. β That can be done with the next cast change. I guess that that one won't be smaller because Leandra has some tendencies to be overactive.

Wouldn't it be better if they try to cheer her up with a tv screens on the ceiling?!
I mean: Look at her eyes: She can't believe what just happened!
I wonder if she is really worried about her coming opportunities to move around.
It seems the only vehicle of transport she could use is the broom stick of a witch.
But first this seems to be the wrong universe for riding broom sticks. And second: There were two girls last seen riding on broom-sticks, just before plastered up in (nearly) full body casts. Ask excilion's Chloe (many years ago) or DragonArtworks' Nina (not so many years ago).
