EDIT: Fixed the hands. They were really bugging me with how they looked, so I decided to draw the hands to look more like... y'know, HANDS.
Sorry for confusion.

...I know, this has to be like- the 5th time in the past two years that I've gone back into a M&L obsession. And I still have that old story "The Necklace" with me, though I know it was stupid. I might actually revamp it later on WITHOUT Luxy, because that was a huge mistake with OOC-ness. (And sorry if you guys have no idea what on earth I'm talking about, it's an old story I wrote as an omake to Superstar Saga, where Cackletta survives, but Luigi and Mario were female since I'm terrible at RPing guys that aren't my own OCs. Even then, it didn't work because my OC Luxy, who originally was the fem-Luigi, was so OOC from Luigi that it didn't matter anyway. I gave up on the story mostly, but there are times when I still think about the story parts I wrote. This pic is one of them. XD)

So that girl in the middle is named Azri. I had posted a really old character explanation about her, but whatever. That's old stuff, and I need to throw all that ancient and confusing crap out.
So Azri ends up being the one to watch over Popple while he pays off his debt, and in an idea to help him do so, she takes him along with the Mario bros. in their last adventure before they depart.

So, um, yeah, it does alter the ending of Superstar Saga, but I wanted a happy ending where Cackletta ended up turning good (for some unknown reason, I thought it would be a good idea)...

Popple, in my story, ends up becoming really good friends with Azri due to the numerous times she's saved his butt. So the first thing Popple thinks to do when Birdo shows up is to hide behind Azri.

Superstar Saga, Mario, Luigi, and Popple belong to Nintendo.

(PS: Don't worry, Popple. I hate Birdo too. Though it's not Birdo's fault, I can't believe they'd mix up Birdo's gender. WHAT THE HECK, NINTENDO.)
