Description All of you can consider this a little present for my first year anniversity as a way of saying thank for all the watches, favs and comments!!

I had watched some new eppies of D. Gray Man last night. I think I'm on eppie 48 going on 49 right now. And because of that I came up with this fanart.

I must have drawn my beloved Allen Walker 3 times in my life and for the first time he looks like he could be 15 years old in my style. For some reason when I draw characters they look 18 and older. And of course we all love the cute little golem Timcampy!

The hardest part of this picture was getting his uniform half way correct. I looked at some pictures in the manga. Forgive me if it isn't 100% correct. I love the uniforms they were but it can be a pain to draw.

I was trying to think of something to put in the background but the more I look at it the better it looks without it. Unless I made it so it looked liked they were laying down on something.

Materials:
Black Primas Marker and Stadler pen for coloring

Time: about 3 hours

Music: Random stuff

Allen Walker and Timcampy belongs to their respective author of DGM. I just own the picture itself.

"Ganbatte" is a Japanese phrash that means something like..."Go for it", "Keep it up"...or something like that.... There's not really an exact word for it in English orz

Damn! That's AWESOME! LOVE IT! I SO wish I could draw anime/manga like that, that well! Sweet! What happened to his arm and left shoulder? I'm kinda interested in seeing a background, but I think you're right it might get in the way. Besides the composition is interesting enough and you're filling up enough of the page that it's kinda uneccesary. Mostly I would like to see a color rendition of this piece! I'm kinda a freak for color! lol! But all in all nice job! Keep on rocking!!!

Thanks! Nothing happened really. I just drew it like that. If you seen volume 2 I believe of the manga on the cover and back it has some characters that has the little "torn pieces" look. I don't think I'm going to mess with it now, so I'm not going to have a background. Color rendition huh? Maybe. Actually that would be pretty easy considering all I would color is his hand, timcampy and face. Dunno if I'll do it though. Thanks for the comment!!

Welcome! Oh okay...I wasn't sure...I haven't read much manga yet I'm totally a freak for the style! Well...part of it's because Mom thought it was stupid and didn't let me get any, but now she doesn't really care. I probably should get caught up with my Manga reading. What do you suggest to start out with? What's your fave?

My favorite manga you mean? Well, it's not strictly my favorite but if you are into good art and poetry in motion writing do yourself a favor and check out Alichino! *sighs* So beautiful. Go to photobucket and type in Alichino........beautiful. Here's a the ageOffset=8" cast . You also find this in one of the manga volumes.

Others I have/like/collecting are From Far Away (cute love story with not a whole lot of trash in between. Have all 14 volumes), Yugioh, D. Gray Man, Vampire Knight, and Shaman King.
