Mulan ain't no princess of a fairytale castle...she's so clearly suited to the battlefield. I like the armor, though at first I thought it was the tail end of a very heavy scarf blowing in a really strong wind. But yeah. And her facial expression is very good. I like the way you colored the lips, and the background is lovely. Not just plain red, which would bore the eye after a while.

I think this program actually makes her look gritty. Likes she's actually at war and facing death everyday instead of singing and talking to dragons, though she is.

my god...did you do this in MS Paint? the coloring seems like airbrush from MS Paint. which is incredible O o...i never knew you could do something this good with it > >

if you used Photoshop's "pencil" airbrush though, same thing. great job either way. =]
