reconstruction of Kaibabvenator swiftae I described from the Permian Kaibab Formation of Northern Arizona . The shark is estimated to have been 16' to 18' feet in length and close to a ton in weight.Reference

I did. Got it published from work I did as an undergrad. Now we have some specimens that are bigger than the type suggesting Kaibabvenator was possibly even bigger. Around 28-30 feet or so.
But to answer your question about my favorite ctenacanthiform shark its actually one I am finishing describing from New Mexico that is new to science, but its only 7 feet long.
