Portal is SO 2007. I've actually owned it since Orange Box came out, but never started playing it until a few weeks ago. I admit, it's quite unique and fun, but i haven't went back to it in awhile.Anyways, felt like doing some art just for the heck of it. surprisingly, i did the entire picture (drawn and coloured) in about an hour.
Of course, this will be a design on gum-gum [link] whenever we update it.

You're the second person to use Portal as the basis for some art. I keep wondering if this is something I should check out or not . . .

it's such a unique game. it's a first person game, but you're solving puzzles instead of killing things. and it revolves around portals (you eventually get a gun that makes them)

Hmm. . .maybe I'll rent it and see what it's all about. I just got a PS3 and apart from like, one, PS3 game I've mostly been playing my older PS1 games on it.

lol, same here. my ps3's been getting a lot of use with blu-rays and ps2 games. not much on the ps3 that i haven't played yet (well, i'm in the middle of dark sector, but haven't had a chance to play it in awhile. mainly just waiting for gta iv, and metal gear)

The one PS3 game I have is Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, and well, it's clear I have a lot to learn about 3D games. I rented Devil May Cry 4 and found it OK-ish, but beyond that I just have no idea what's good and what's not.
In the menatime though. . .man, you really can tell the difference with Blu-ray discs, can't you?

i have a hard time watching standard dvd anymore. blu-ray has spoiled me.
have you played uncharted: drake's fortune yet? it's one of my favorites on the system. ratchet and clank is a blast as well.

I haven't got that far (too much stuff I like is only on DVD at the moment) but it adds the proper "snap" to a certain kind of movie, I think.
