I think you've done a wonderful job combining the stock! I also really like the painting you've done on the hair. Excellent work, there!
One suggestion I might have, would be to add a few more shadows to her. It looks like the light to the right is really extreme, and I think some of your painting on the face may have drown out some of the darker details there. Going in with a tiny brush and detailing the areas such as around her nose, and maybe corners of her eyes, would help counteract that. Also some shadows to the left of her would also help make her feel more a part of the setting.

I know what you mean. I sit here pulling my hair out trying to get shadows and lighting right sometimes... it's always too much or not enough, and I can tell that it doesn't look right in my own paintings, but it is always like pulling teeth, trying to get it right!
