yea.. okay. this is my first submission, here goes nothing.
edit: the clarity around her eye and general blurriness was intentional

I like the contrasts of tones, nice grayness, and the negative space is good too..well done.

Good in a minimalistic sense...
not so good if you are aiming at a general perspective.
There is not a lot going on here to differenciate between many other pics here that are very similar. The black and white adds depth to the picture and makes it slightly moody (which is a pretty good thing).
A lot of the picture seems blurry and this spoils it a little - but the eye seems more defined and will attract attention and the viewer will focus on this more (was this intended ?).
Apart from that it's pretty good ! But sadly it is missing originality.
Please take this as 'constructive' criticism
