My first band poster in ages! I missed doing this and when my friends in Ang Bandang Shirley (The Band Shirley or Shirley The Band) needed help, I volunteered in doing it. The afforementioned Shirley was based on Filipino artist Pepper Roxas' designer figure and has become a staple in all their material. I made studies with discreet tweakings of her and it just didn't look "all mine". So I suggested to the band that I do my version, and I'm glad that they liked it.For the Filipino indie music community, please support Shirley by dropping by their album launch and buy their album as well! If you like Mates of State, you'll definitely love them!

How cool! I've ALWAYS wanted to design a poster or a CD cover for a band. This is great. I love the way the face stretches around the skull. Definitely scary! I love indie music, too, so I wish I could support them, but I'm all the way in the states!

It all starts with your portfolio. Next is the connections. You have your deviantart account, and try to do some faux CD cover design of your fave band, then when the opportunity hits, just present it.
