Description
Slated for release this 2nd week of September on my timetable's a "Propaganda Poster". It may not look timely, but it's something I've always wanted to do. I did it on time, and to those about to ask, it's really this minimal.I was thinking of "painting your own shadow" and illustrated it literally. Now, I can have this printed. Yeah!
PS I made a project timetable so I could do something creative within schedule. Next up's a band artwork.
For now, I hope you like this one.

salamat, boss! actually, jomar went online last week, tinanong DA url ko. ang banggit ko lang sa kanya, check mo si den at christine din. maya maya, nagtext sya "pre, di mo na kailangan turo ko e". that was enough for me.
yeah, punta ako. baka kakatapos ko lang tatuan by then.

That's really nice. It's a good composition, minimal but everything fits together nicely. I like the font you used and also the texture on the paint on the wall.
I like your fashion ideas too, the sort of thing you dn't find in a painting situation normally but great for a propaganda poster.

thanks, jessica! i will also improve on this as well, you know, like putting in faux logos and putting more copy. what i felt great about is i got away with using only a flat color as background and it felt good as it is.
as for fashion taste, it kinda fell into the picture, coz i was thinking something timely, yet with a dash of bluecollar. i was thinking of milk delivery man's overalls plus the fact it'd get dirty, so i kinda settled with real, work overalls, did away with plaid (coz she'd look so farmer john-ish) and went with the stripes. making her wear stilletto pumps is what makes her fashionista-esque.

Yes indeed. The flat colour background is a god method for posters. And the stilettos are what makes her dress sense interesting.
