Royal Elastics, the ultra-comfortable, elasticized, creatively-designed sneaker label brings you DekArt.
DekArt is a competition that encourages artists to express themselves and display their work in a unique format and on a special canvass – the skate deck.
Through DekArt, Royal Elastics gives you an opportunity to be known as the Philippines’ 1st Royal Elastics DekArt champion.
Create a work of DekArt with your own interpretation of this year’s theme: ICONS OF THE WORLD.
Grand prize is P50,000!
Plus 1 pair of Royal Elastics
2nd prize: P30,000 plus 1 pair of Royal Elastics
3rd prize: P15,000 plus 1 pair of Royal Elastics
Mechanics:
• Fill out and submit the application form, and pick up your deck from Royal Elastics stores in Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia.
Decks will be available starting August 20, 2007.
• Leave a deposit of P500.00, which will be returned when deck is submitted to the stores.
• Artists must submit their artwork on official Royal Elastics decks using graf, paste up or stencil.
• Artists must include the Royal Elastics Fleur-de-lis logo in their artwork.
• A limited number of decks will be selected to enter the finals. Finalists will be notified through mail.
• Deadline for artwork is on September 25, 2007.
A total of 250 blank decks will be provided for participants to paint on. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards Party will be on October 6, 2007, Saturday at The Bubble in Fort Bonifacio Global City.

I love the way the skaters in he back kinda follow the line of his shoulders, and the boards blossom over his eyes. The color composition of this is just great, too. Nice work!

Ha, that would be so cool if you entered. Even if you don't actually enter the contest, you should design a deck sometime, on paper or whatever floats your boat. Your stuff would look awesome on a skateboard. C:
