A rather interesting contrast between the 2d of the piece and the 3d comic type speech bubbles tooo. ^_^ Shall be waiting in earnest for the coloured version!

hi, jessica! i'm in a big mound of work recently and if you receive this, i must've made good use of the keyboard as shovel. yeah, i was pretty happy when this came out, but i know i've gotta improve on the word balloons in order for this to work. hope to get some air soon. hey, my band is recording on the 25th, by the way, so you better send me your email addy so i can mail you the finished product.

Oh goodness! I LOVE this! The concept itself is amazing, and the execution is wonderful. I love the girl's nose, and the man-zombie's clothing and face are great. The speech bubbles really make the piece!

I was watching something on the tube the other night with pencil on hand and after the show, I completed Mr. DropJaw there and I thought "is this complete or what?" so I just added the girl there and the word balloons just popped out, maybe out of her boredom.
