A kick in the ass. If not for this project, I'd still not pick up a pencil. Here's a study for a project (NOTE: not yet final), to be specific, it's not the ones they picked. I rendered them both in a cartoon-y version and my own, which you see above.When I did the hippie, I used Zooey Deschanel as peg. As for the wiseguy, I used Nickelodeon's Drake Bell.
Go figure.

Hehe, what a good idea for inpriration to base it off unlikely characters ^_^ Unlikely couples are good because they defy normal reason... And that's a good thing.

Thanks, Jessica! I'm gonna alter my style a bit for this project, though, that's why I got had the liberty of posting my roughs here. The client wants a lineart-ish style, so off with the fine lines!
