I was critical of this film at first due to the bones of the original Godzilla being used to create MechaG, it was a great concept and fresh new twist on MechaG and explains why someone would build a robot in Godzilla's image since they had to work around its skeleton, but I was pretty certain the bones had been disintegrated along with the rest of him at the end of the first Goji film.

HOWEVER, once ya get past that, or if you're able to ignore that and accept that in THIS continuity the bones somehow survived afterall, then its easier to fully enjoy.

Plus, I like the redesigned Millennium Goji suit, he still has the same feral, spiny reptilian look from Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs Megaguirus, BUT, his scales and bones have been returned to their original coloration.

Anyway, great poster

Although it still confuses me to as why they didn't keep the red-orange version of his thermo-nuclear ray. Its better than the crappy blue version.

I actually prefer his trademark blue atomic breath better, looks more exotic and impressive than regular colored flame. However, I do love his Heisei era spiral atomic breath as a finishing, super powered move

Although the red one was ment to be more powerful. Why didn't they keep it? No one knows.

The spiral atomic breath was stronger (love that finishing move, glad they brought it back in Final Wars), but the red and orange flame seen in Godzilla 2000 & Godzilla vs Megaguirus was the same power level as the blue flame, just recolored for some reason

Its judt that i like the red-orange one better. Everyone has their own preferences after all. And speaking on the spiral one, it was used in 1995. Although Godzilla VS Destroyah was awsome, god did it make me cry.

This movie was perfect. I think better than the original (shocking I know)

I absolutely loved the fight scenes, and they really put in some good work when they animated Kiryu flying, and when Godzilla got knocked about 300' by Kiryu, simply amazing.

Really enjoyed this movie. Really nice how they tied the recent Godzilla to the orginals (well his bones that is) and the battle scenes were simply amazing

Very nice work on this poster, quite well done. Godzilla against MechaG wasn't my fave Godzilla movie, but it had its moments and the new version of MechaG had a nice look, like a mobile tail for the first time ever

However, I was confused by the origin of MechaG this time around, namely the part about his framework being constructed from the skeletal remains of the first Godzilla from 1954...Weren't those bones completely dissolved by the Oxygen Destroyer at the end of the first movie?

It destroys all life, but the actual material of the bones isn't alive, just the bone marrow that makes the blood. So the bones wouldn't be dessolved. Get me?

Nice, like the placement of the Kiryu head.
