About the Desktopography project
At their best, desktop wallpapers bring animation to often lifeless computer screens, reflecting the personality of the user and acting as a calling card for creative talent. The Desktopography project arrived in 2005 as a place to download nature / topological themed wallpapers with edits from selected designers. Designers spend about 90% of their waking life in front of a computer so the most appealing genre for a wallpaper would be one that has beautiful design mixed with the all important aspect of being outdoors.
For the designer, creating wallpapers is a great way to perfect your craft and create images specifically for different environments from desktops and laptops to mobile phones and MP3 players. Hi ! i always curious on how can you make a landscape photomanipulation like this!. i my self is able to use photoshop to create some manipulation but nowhere near of this level! did you create this purely only using stock images and photoshop?? if you use other software what is it? and for what purpose?

I like the result, but I am not particularly proud of it because, as you know, the main credit goes to the stock provider. His cloud photos are amazing. 
Regarding your image, I think you did an excellent job again! It also looks great on my new huge HD TV.

I think you're hard on yourself, even if the stock played a big role, your vision and skills did most of the work! I could say the same thing: the stock I used for the mountains in the first plan was already excellent, almost perfect.
