Ahah, almost forgot about this lil fella. I had it ready the same time as my YCH, but wanted to give to the YCH at least 24h of visibility....but then got to the hospital and forgot orz;

Anyways, I'm doing my best to introduce the species with no visual sample yet; this is one off the list, a Spring Fawn <3

Right now I need to develop their lore more (they're one of those species which came to my mind as designs only with no idea behind it orz; ) but basically they are elegant creatures said to be born from water springs (even though, it's rare, but they can be born from any liquid/semi-liquid matter). They actually have nothing to do with fawns, the people who named them never got to see them upclose, just as silhouettes, and compared their slender body and graceful movements to those of a fawn.
While the Merpuffs clean from pollution the sea water, the Spring Fawns do the same with lake/river water, just the touch of their enchanted horn is enough to purify the water (which makes them much more magically powerful than Merpuffs).
Their horn also continuosly generates pure water (or whatever their birth liquid is), which runs across their back as a river and dissolves when touching the ground. Their fur is usually mimicking their place of birth or favorite place, so most Spring Fawns have it resembling grass with flowers growing on it, or mountain areas with snow, ice, and/or even rocky horns from their body.
They usually do not need to drink or eat, their river keeps them hydratated and their strenght survives on pure magic (even if those with plant elelments can get nutrition from those as well), so having their horn cut or broken is basically sentencing them to death.
They're quite the skittish creatures, mainly because they're afraid someone may want to exploit their purifying powers.
