Description
A brown forest mouse pokes his head out of his home. He lives in a moss covered human skull on that sits among a few mossy stones and a bunch of colorful mushrooms. The mouse's home was originally not his, of course. He inherited from the previous owner, who apparently did not come to a good end. Perhaps the skull's new inhabitant will do better.Note: this scene uses purchased content.
Tools used: Daz Studio w/ LookAtMyHair (mouse and skull), Poser (Mushrooms), Vue (everything else + rendering), GIMP (Post production)

would love something like this as a follow up to an Amazon warrior/ battle series. You don't have any insights as to whether bones left on an actual battlefield aged that way?

Your talent with the tools that you use is truly exceptional, but it is the concept here that really takes this to the next level!

Looking at this again, it also reminds me of the classic 1939 cartoon, "Peace On Earth," where [spoiler alert] cute little forest animals build homes for themselves from the leftover war materiel after mankind succeeds in killing itself off in a war. Excellent work.

This is a beautiful little house nice for this mouse.
The lighting effects are really well done, but I must admit that I agree with ExquisiteIllusions about the ears.
Otherwise your creation is gorgeous, congratulations.

Very well done. I love the skull and the grass texture on the image. The only critique I would give that was easily noticeable for me is that the mouse's ear should be a little transparent somewhere(because it has so much light coming down onto it) as opposed to totally opaque. Other than that, great image!
