THE STORY:
Pyre is the half-brother of Ash, they share a father in the previous alpha of the pack, Linden. Pyre's mother was the previous Beta turned Alpha. As a pup conceived by the Alpha, Linden would not properly take a role as his father until he decided to officially take the Beta as his mate and accept their son after he earned his name. Pyre's father didn't at all try to hide his nepotism and instantly placed his son among the hunters, who weren't too thrilled by the idea but knew better than to challenge the Alpha. His father wouldn't be around for long however. Upon a border search for trespassers with the Alpha and a Patrol dog named Ash, the trio would venture off together and Pyre would later discover his father's body. Horrified he notified Ash and they returned to camp to share the news. Although heart broken, Pyre's mother would be forced to take her mate's place, but refused to choose a new beta for some time. Pyre would remain as a hunter for the duration of his adulthood until his mother confronted him about wishing to make him Beta. Before this could come to be, Ash now a hunter had challenged Pyre to a fight, winning and severely injuring his half-brother. Once done, he challenged the Alpha who did not defend herself and stepped down. Assuming his place as the new Alpha, Ash sent Pyre's mother to be chased out of the packs, and Pyre was left a lowly patrol dog.

Brief history:
Pup:
As a pup Pyre had it pretty good, his mother being a beta offered him a better life than those in the lower ranks and soon to fine that his father was the alpha of the pack only made his life all the more easy. Though this fact was only known when his mother and Linden actually became mates. He was born into a privilege he was not aware of it at the time.
Adolescent:
It was when things went good to worse. As soon as he was of age and Linden made the announcement that he would immediately join the hunters. It was big rank up for him as he didn't even have to out like all the other young dogs when they get their roles. He could tell some were not to thrill on the idea but he trusted his father choice and he was determined to make him proud. He did try his best to work along his fellow hunter though it was a struggle as he was basically just tossed into the roll and had to learn quickly. He knew he was struggling hard and wasn't the best at his job but he would be damned if he wasn't trying. He didn't want to make his dad look bad especially after all the praise he gave him when he announced he was his son. Though he was greatly at some respect the others shown him even if it was just for the sake of making their alpha happy.
But when the time came when reports of troubles near the border has started and his dad finally decided to see what was going on he picked him and Ash to go with him. Now pyre didn't know Ash that well or at all for the matter. But if his Linden wanted him to come along then so be it, maybe this will be a moment where he could actually shine and prove he was more than mediocre at what he does. Once they finally reached the rocky ground he father told him to go search around and he obeyed. He sniffed around trying to find any real source of intruders but he wasn't picking on much of just really faint smells. It wasn't till he came back to explore around the steeper cliff that he caught a iron like smell in the distance. He move towards a cliff edge and peered down only to be greeted with a horrid sight. Linden, the alpha, his father, laid in a crumpled heap on the ground. He immediately broke into hysterics. Before running to try and find Ash. When he finally found him, he stumbled over his words to tell him what had happened. When he finally collected himself enough he asked Ash to help bring his body back. They couldn't just leave him here.
There was a lot of outburst and ruckus when the alpha was announced dead. With no strange scents to be found and only the three of them it was hard to figure out what happened. Some just settle that he was clumsy and just slipped but Pyre refused to believed that. How could he not be that aware of his surroundings and just slipped to his death? But there was nothing he could do but try to comfort his grieving mother.
Adult:
He spent much time with her after his fathers death and he was sort of surprised to hear she wanted to make him a beta. But he began to notice Ash climbing through the ranks, fighting other dogs to prove himself. It cause him to worry and he was right to because when it came down to choosing a hunter, he chose him. He couldn't be to surprised he was the old alphas son. But he he gave little time for his mother or him to actually grieve properly the death of the old alpha. He even saw his mother hesitant;y decided what to do, but atlas she sounded that they would fight. Pyre stood his ground he couldn't disappointed, he was Linden son and he had to give it his best if he were to do this. Try as he might though in the end he was pinned and being ripped apart by Ash, For a brief moment he thought that he was going to die. Ash was not letting up even though it was clear he was the winner, he just kept attacking and more and more of his blood spilled onto the ground like a running river of red crimson. It was only shrill cry of his mother that ended the ruthless attack. He kept apologizing to her telling he tried, he tried so hard to make her proud and his dad. He was sorry that he wasn't strong enough. Though there was a small flare of anger as Ash and his mother started berating his mother. Could they not see she was still grieving for Linden and no where wounded son. There was only so much one could take mentally and the pack gave no real support of this. He had wished for his mother to fight back against him though but she was too broken and thus all power was lost.
Pyre did not raise his voice for Ash, how could he? He ripped everything he had from him and not only that he drove out the weak and chase off his very own mother only to threaten to hurt her is she returned and made him a patrol dog. There a hidden fire bloomed inside of him, a severe hatred for Ash and all that he has done. He was not making it better more so making it a tyrannical ruler ship. He knew this was not the way things should be to chase out the weak and to enforce such power over others. He made a vow some day, someday he will get stronger to he could make a fool out of Ash just like he did him and make him pay.
Future plans: I would hope some drama between ahs and pyre in the future , but having pyre work hard to get stronger so he could raise through the ranks and show that he was not just a privilege dog that was just all looks and no skills. He wants to avenge his parents honor.
Roleplay example:
Deep in the forest lied another creature. Resting among the earth not seemly bothered by what's was around her. She was at peace her body blended well into her surroundings she was basically apart of the scenery. Her peace was dispersed when the loud roar erupted through the bliss. Slowly her large body rose from the earth. Sounds of breaking branches sounded in the area as sometimes she could lie in one spot for many months even a few years without the need for food she had leave to enter a state like Hibernation to sustain herself. Though it did cause for plant life to grow around her and thus breaking when she finally decided to move. So up she stood a large indentation in the ground from where she laid. Her movements where slow as he walked careful as to not harm the nature that surrounded her. She was curious at who was roaring so loud, they seemed to be in a bit of distress maybe she could help. So she lumbered towards the sound of the last roar she heard.
