:3 my Tana, i absolutely adore lanterns, and i've come to notice that lanterns are always connected to spirits and supernatural beings. So why not make a tana for it lol
anyways i LOVE Key, yes Key is his nickname <3 and even though tana's are genderless, if they did he'd be male lol but yes, i realized searching through my gallery that, there is little to no personal art in there lol so expect massive oc dump soon lol
anyways i hope you enjoy him because i LOVE him ;o;

look, first off, i didn't know you had a character like that, second off threatening me wont change my mind, you are like an idol to me so why in the hell would i theft from you, I'm not young or stupid, i looked in your gallery, your character is nothing like mine, not even the lantern. mine is made up of spiritual beads, yours is a rope. I'm not going to change my character because of that. Lanterns are all over the place. If you don't believe me then fine don't but i won't change because your afraid of theft. and i hide the comments so i don't get your watchers flaming me

Aughh, made a mistake in there: I miss read your note about the idol part.
I understand your argument about the 'idol' part though. In the past, I was WAAY and DEEPLY obsessed with Maygikal's art, and I really feel into her style I guess. It's been 3 years and I'm still struggling to get out of it. Of course, there was a fanbase involved, nasty comments, and such, but they all had a legitmate argument (well.. most lol, not all) I loved her artwork so much, I believe some of my character began to take shape and personality like hers. I'd love to claim I wasn't young.. or stupid back then, but hey- who WOULD admit to that? of course we think we're right, and for awhile I was ignorant towards May's helpful requests to get about changing my characters. (In the end, I did for the sake of my integrity as a DAer)
I'm getting of into a ugly past and yaddayadda, but I just want to say: I've been there. And I know where you're coming from/ although, I was never quick to respond with an argumentative tone.

i know i know, and im a naturally defensive person, i try hard to my my characters stand out and differ from more popular people because i didn't want to be labeled as theft or had a theft issue.
I like making characters based off things i like, lanterns and Japanese themes are one of them, i don't know i don't want to seem immature with this, this is the first time this has happened to me. Like i said I'm willing to change his design. So long as i can still have some type of representation of his lantern.
I'm not sure, but this made me realize how dA can be sometimes im not sure of who told you, i barely get people speaking about how Keahi appears to be 'related' to your character.
I also want to apologize on how i acted and handled things

Dude, I'm not like.. advertising this. Just so you know, I'm not the type of person to get call upon a fanbase. That's just being a weeaboo, and you're kinda stepping onto that line by assuming I'm your idol. NOW that's freaky, because I'm just a regular DAer. Don't get so defensive (no need to curse/use strong language yet)
But! I wasn't the one who found out about your character and connected the dots together? I came to know through half a dozen notifications from various DA ppl- and many came to the conclusion I am at right now. Spiritual beads, rope; in the end, I'm just saying they look pretty much the same, and so does the back story. Sorry that I'm being pretty blunt and perhaps a little immature (I've never really had to deal with confrontation) This is just the way I'm capable of notifying. I'm not really in that studious point in life where I'm going to sit down and spend a good portion of time trying to be subtle/subliminal. That's just sugar coating.

im not asking you to sugar coat anything, in fact I'm happy you notified me instead of someone else. I call you my idol because i respect your art at your age. don't lump me with weeaboo's because of that, it's stereotypical.
I don't like thefts nor do i tolerate them so why would i step out of my boundaries and words? I don't even have a legit reason as to why I'd even bother with stealing from you in the first place. So what is it ? the fact that hes got the lantern on his tail? is that all? or the fact that hes a fox? or the marking on his forehead? I'll change his design and marking but I am not going to get rid of the lantern.

But~! He's coming. And I'm also gunna draw a picture of him and a Tana I made myself... draw 'em together. Also... I had an idea. The Tana I want to design, I wanted him to be missing a leg... like the souls combined awkwardly and ended up making him miss most of one of his legs. I wanted to know if that was possible, and if so, if I could do that.
