Alright so I figured some things out. I copied both picture and ini file and renamed every "top" to "left". I rotated the picture so It was fading from left to right.
I then experimented with some numbers and when i use:
[Taskbar]
Meter=IMAGE
ImageName=taskbar-shadow-left.png
X=0
Y=0
W=#WORKAREAWIDTH#
H=1080
It sticks nice from top to bottom of my screen (1920*1080). The fade itself goes from left to right but covers half of the screen... I need to "shrink" it down, but modifying X or Y only changes the vertical length. Any ideas?

If it does not fit your position, try to edit the taskbar-shadow-*.ini file and change the number to another
line:
[Taskbar]
H=42
save and refresh skin

Oh, nevermind. The download was corrupted, re-downloaded and it's fine now.
