FINALLY got round to buying myself a sketchbook yesterday, so wanted to 'christen' it as it were, so this page was done over the course of the simpsons and hollyoaks and abit more. I havent sketched in a while, so its not as 'neat' as it can be, but its just a warm up exercise

cool stuff, it thinks its great idea that you've got a sketchbook. Even if your just focusing on digital having a sketchbook might help you arrive at ideas that would'nt have come up with staring at a monitor. I've also found that using differnt pens/ pencils also makes draw differently and in turn come up with more ideas.
(I'd have a look to see if your cam has an indoor whitebalance setting, or a manual white balance feature cos the paper looks brown, unless its meant to be)

pretty bad photo anyway, cant even see it - use flash + put at slight angle, up brightness and contrast and will be better

why dont you stick to digital works? You never really took a creative path mike, it will be extremely hard to start up the foundations now when you could really focus and define on something your good at presently..

Mike hasnt touched traditional media well for..all the 21 years ive known hiim, then randomly tries to do a sketch! To be honest its not very well done and doesnt fit here, it lowers the overall quality of his gallery and im not quite sure why he put it here in the first place, but good luck to him for trying! :s
