An age and a half ago I was in this RP gorup called the Chocobo Riders.... well this is Libra from there XD I dont think the girl who played her ever saw this picture, I wonder if she would like it. I hope so .... hehe well anywho. The RP thing was based in the FFVII world, which is why the green orb in Libras hand is there, for those who play will know its materia
As for the pier in the background; thats in Junon, where the cannon once stood. If this is going over you head in sorry, please just enjoy the picture

I wondered, how do you get the ocean to look so lifelike? I have tried a gazillion times to make it look like that, but it just doesn't! :/ how do you do it?

Work on your hands more. That was the first thing that jumped out at me. Your forearms are kind of thick and you need to define the wrists. The sillouete (bad spelling) is very nice and the background is pretty nice. The near eye seems to be a bit too big (In height). I'd also suggest narrowing her rib cage just a bit. Females ribs tend to narrow more than guy's. You're doing really well, just keep it up.

Looks great - I especially liked the tone in the hair - but I think the hands are sorta out of proportion but I shouldnt talk since I even suck at hands myself lol

could you add a tad more to her nose? it just seems it's missing part of a line. Very nice work of art!

Well I have to say that is incredibly cute
The outfit and necklace are good but maybe a bit basic? The necklace in particular - you have just drawn a line for the necklace chain, maybe it would be better to draw the links on a chain or the twists in a piece or rope? That's the kind of detail that changes someting from good to better - same with the dress really, the lace up bits are just criss crosses rather than overlapping lace - maybe look ata laced up shoe? It doesnt take long to learn how laces overlap and it's another of those details that really makes a difference. The shading - you've got the right idea here, shading makes all the difference! However, be careful not to just change the depth of the colour randomly (it feels a little random on the sleeves), make sure you make the colour darker where there would be shadows and creases etc. You've done this well on the face with the cheeks.
Overall, it's a lovely picture and is well drawn, but there are some details that could be seen to to make it even better! And on a final note - I always prefer a background, characters with a background grab the eye much more and make for a more interesting picture. Its not as hard as many people think - it just takes more time! xxx Hope that's helpful x

I like the expression, and her eyes especially. The eyes are so nicely shaded and blended, they look so real. Her hands seem a bit big for her body, but all in all it's very cute and sweet.
