Why do we hold on too long, when we know we should let go?I just got back from my holiday ^_^ and am happy to be getting back into the swing of things again
Had a good few weeks, and am hoping things continue to improve from here

I can't answer your question, but I can say that I do the same. Why do they call it loyalty when one hangs onto the good and sick when one holds onto the bad? Just wondering. Also, you let me know that I am not alone.

It's childish, but I still cling to the first real relationship I have. It was never my choice to lose connection with her, she basically threw me away, but I still hold on to that memory and wonder why. I used to have dreams of her, but those have subsided lately, and it's just a faint feeling at this point. A half empty balloon on a thinned thread, to relate to the beautiful piece you made.

Oh man, I relate to this so much. There's just some things that I will never forget about, no matter how much I know that it won't do me anyΒ good to hold a grudge. I'm one of those people who will forgive, but I never forget, and every time I remember, it's like I'm reliving the whole situation all over again. It sucks, and I just wish that I could magically make the memory disappear so I don'tΒ have to relive it again. Unfortunately, I can't, so I have to live with it whether I like it or not.
Anyways, on a more positive note, this looks amazing! The colors look beautiful together, and this piece was very well done! Nice job!

I can definitely relate to this, because although I'm only a kid, I have seen a lot of really awful things in my life. I think your art is really important, because you don't just try to hide the bad things in life inside. You try to let go, with your art.

Anger, hurt, sadness. I experienced all this before I was 10 and I'm learning to let go, even though it's hard. When you let stuff go, you feel so free. Also, it's one of the first steps to healing. This is beautiful, the way you did the lighting is amazing

I won't lie, nothing. But if you hang on, it'll be easier for them to push you. If you let go, you'll become stronger in a way that when they tell you something it won't have any effect on you anymore.

There's a difference in the boyfriend. If you choose to leave him you let it go that your ex cheated on you. If he keeps cheating you you can forgive him but still leave him because you've had enough. Forgiving and letting go aren't the same as forgetting
