Description
Cut down from her stand, the tree weeps for her old life, unknowingly, her tears water a flower which blooms to a glow, and the tree knows she too, will grow again in time.I found an old diary of mine with a little sketch like this drawing and the words "let your tears be the rain which waters your soul" I didn't even remember drawing it, but it hit me hard when I found it. I've come really far, but my tree is still a sapling, and easily bent. I try and nourish it as best I can, and sometimes tears really can help
I didn't want her crying in this though, it's when she realises everything will be okay, because things grow anew. Must be 30+ hours work in this, though it was mostly done on one layer... Messed around with lots of brushes, was enjoyable to use texture
She is not an ent or a groot, or anything not from my imagination, she is a symbol, for things growing again

No way. I drew a piece very similar to this last year. Almost the same position and everything with the same subject matter and everything. I never uploaded it though. You did a really excellent job on executing the piece

Negative:
Ok this is hard to find negatives on as there is so much good. The grass bottom left foreground maybe some detail to make it more defined? and the shoulder seems very smooth maybe a lil bit of bark definition even if there is light on it last bit this is more artistic differences they don't have much anime style to them but there is some mixed into the piece so it might not even be a negative.
Positive:
What's right about this piece is nearly everything! The detail, the glow, the idea, the lack of huge boobs, The flower looks real i'd swear that's a photo! The face is so human so close to real it's unreal the hair is pretty much real also the whole effect looks like an oil painting! wonderful idea.
The back ground has it's detail it has reasons for not seeing beyond the trees you don't lose any detail either it is all spot on.
Summary:
Overall a wonderful piece with a great idea lots of detail no lack of it in any ground also everything is in proportion makes sense and works. They style seems like real life and an oil painting with a hint of anime in there. Don't lose that anime style it's what keeps you unique in this type of real life art.
Personal Note:
Why is it my life seems to follow your art work or vice versa? This connected with my mood at the moment of growing back again from my fallen self i had fallen below the canopy of tress from the sunshine and will regrow to find the sun again. Keep going with those styles of different types of materials it will be interesting to see what else you will do with it! You have come so far so so far and it's all down to you and your passion i'm proud to know you and to have the chance to of met you in life. Keep on Painting
