You guys ask a lot to see WIPs and in progress things. Well technically this isn't a progress screenshot, I was experimenting with a piece and I thought it looked really cool, but isn't the route I'm taking the drawing down (because it's frankly not relevant to the meaning or story of the picture) I was just having fun playing around and I love the way it turned out and wanted to share

To make this effect:
I used a starscape photograph (with thanks to STScI [link] ) and placed it over the drawing I already sketched and shaded, I then set the layer mode to multiply and set opacity to 30%, I then duplicated that layer and changed the layer mode to Screen. I did it in SAI, but almost any digital art program it'll work for. Feel free to try it yourself! I'd love to see your results

Yeah, as this isn't working WIP crits arn't rquested thanks as the 'real' picture is a different direction and he face already looks much better than it does in this
My brain is exploding with creativity and ideas at the moment, I sketched out 6 ideas the other night, this being one. Just need to focus on finishing one! XD

The cosmos is just so inspiring
