This image was sent me when I was I'm depths of depression and anxiety. It immediately became a lifeline that I clung to as I stumbled through those dark paths, hoping one day to feel that sunlight.
I have found it, least for the moment, and I made here, in part, because of this image. So thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. ❤

I didn't go through anything really tramatic- but being away from God at all is annoying and hard for me and I just went through my hardest time of feeling away from God and it was all my fault but I'm closer than ever- but I didn't have to leave to realize how good He is and KIND

One of my favorite pictures from you, which is saying a lot, because your gallery is full of heartfelt beauty.
I bet those beastly shadow creatures must've made traversing through the forest so fearful and difficult. I also bet the person never thought that s/he'd make it out of there alive, but they did, and I'm proud of them. <3
The person's posture and how they just absorb the light…words can't describe. So poignant.

He trudged through the trees, the wind whispering around him. Despite the beauty and colors of the leaves, it felt dark and lonely. He'd gone on, long past the others who'd given up, listening to the ever present voice urging them to go back.
He could have easily become one of the many who stopped, who gave up hope with no sky in sight. The canopy choked them of their life, so they all dropped off silently, one by one.
But he didn't. He always wondered why. What made him so special? Why should he make it when others stronger than him failed?
But as light, a different light, flooded the ground in front of him, he smiled as he found himself out of the darkness, knee-deep in grass.
It wasn't that he was more special than anyone else; it wasn't that he was destined to go on. He just had the courage and motivation to go on, even when the darkness threatened to snuff out his light. But he knew that the road was more important, even the less traveled one, than the destination.
Journey's are funny like that.
