Another one in watercolours! This time its even more sparkley XDOkay, can you actuly tell whats going on? Well its a mermaid (yes really) sitting on a rock, wairing a dress and playing some kind of flute XD there you go. weird eh? I don't really know why.. theres a whole weird story oing on in my head about it, but ill spare you the pain of listening to me waffle incoherently.
Its a shame I have a bad scanner ;-; even with colour correction this doesn't look half as good as the origonal. Its great to really have something tangable, I might put this on my wall hehe

But really, this picture is gorgeous. I can't imagine how long it took @@ If I had drawn it, i would have been to scared to color it for fear of messing it up lol That's why many of mine aren't colored XD *needs to get over that*

I have to favorite this since it's so sparkly and the pink, purple, and blue triad were my all-time favorite colors as a kid!

This is fabulous. But... one thing.... The flute should be on the other side and the hand farthest from her face should be on the other side of the flute. (sorry I'm a flute player, that's all)

*squeal* I love real media, your colours are beautiful. I love how bright they are, it really suits the subject matter. The only part I would POSSIBLY consider changing is the busyness of the sky--those extra criss-crossy marks are a little distracting...but that's just my opinion. Overall, I love this. It's gorgeous.

Yeah the sky is weird... actuly I have to admit looking back on this piece im not to happy about it.. *sigh*
but I think I shall get out my watercolour soon and try again! XD

You pay amazing attention to detail ill give ya that. not many people do now. normally its just a quick character outline then quickly computer coloured in. Your work is really quite incredible!! very very well done ^_^

wow, i love the colors. and i like the water part, makes it look really dreamy. If thats the flute than you have the hands in the wrong position. the right hand needs to be the other way. sorry, im really picky when it comes to flutes - i play it.

It's goregous! It's amazing how you painted in all the details, from the waves in the sea to the creases in the mermaid's dress. It's a marvel how you outlined everything with black watercolor.

Wow, lovely piece. I enjoy the coloring on this immensly. My only complaint is the face is done poorly in comparison...it just looks underdeveloped compared to your immense skills in the other areas of the piece. Nonetheless, good job!
