So this was my print exclusive for MCM London Comic Con - to say thank you to my supporters in my hometown of London, and to celebrate my last show of of this year
The show went really well - and this sold out! Thanks so much to everyone who showed their support
and I now have some time off! Yippee!This time of year is a transitionary period for me, leaving the lighter months and entering the dark. On a daily basis the sun goes down, drawing in the night, and this piece is about a girl who brings in the night, sweeping in on her dress; coming though the doorway between night and day, inviting with her the stars.
Something simple. But simple is what I need right now.
It's just a sketch I polished up (the right hand images are photos of the print) but i will have some proper finished work up soon, now I have my time back

I was trying to critique this one but i found it so hard to do cause everytime i found something i thought i could point out as a negative i would check against it in my head about style etc... and i just kept countering myself so all i can say is a postive about this one so thought i would take off the magnifying glasses and be normal Jay!
The back light is just like a real light i love how bright it is really sets off my visual stress! which is a positive for once! Then the blue frame aroudn that is a different light i like the contrast then the lights around it very much what i see whenever i look at a light with the light trails coming off of them. The mist swirls are amazing i especially like those! Very much pull me in wanting to look through the mist to see comes out of it
