Oh how nice

Anyyyway more to the point, after two and half weeks 25-30 hours work, I finally finished it ;-;
This is a colaboration between me and TiffaLei She posted her work in the lineart jam thread thing on gaiaonline and I just fell in love with it and had to try my hand a colouring ^^ I asked her in the thread if she didn't mind if I changed a few things on her linart and luckily she agreed. I actuly have changed quite a few things on this girl; originaly she had a cat tail and ears.. but I wasnt to fond of those so I snipped them off and made her into an angel with wings and a halo, I also edited her face to fit more with my style of colouring, I completly re-did the nose and mouth. Also the hair, god I had so much trouble colouring in TiffaLei's bunches, I must have tryed 5 times (each hours of work) So eventually I went back to the lineart and re-did the bunches and made them curly wirly which I love ^^

Also all the background and concept of that spell things shes casting on the ground are my own. The background killed my hand, I think I overcompensated for not drawing the lines by adding anything I could think of to the BG XD heh, I like how it turned out though and the symmetry works well in my oppinion ^^ The window was one of the most fun things to do, though when I made the lines bolder it made the anime window girls face a bit strange hehe. Oh the spell the spell Can you actuly tell shes casting a spell? Im not sure, theres so much going on. but that was something i've wanted to do for a while, someone casting one of those round spells and what better place to put it than on the floor hehe I love how it glows *stares* ohh shinnnneyyy.....

Arg light sources! I have: the spell, the window and all those candels, all making light which makes doing the highlights and shadows on this picture a headache, lots of fun, but a pain in the ass. I really wanted the spell to be one of the focal points in the picture, so I gave the main glow from there, it was great working with an unusually places light source, after all it's not often light comes from underneath

What else can I say? All the work I did was in OpenCanvas and took way way to long XD
