Even though this was submitted a while ago, I have to say... I really love your art. Found your gallery randomly and I was drawn in. Your characters remind me of some of my own, in an odd way. It's hard to explain.

well...the concept of vampires who can stand in light, is a concept I've always loved...toyed with the idea many, many moons ago for a novel series...

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww...! I'm not sure what it is, but for some reason, this strikes me as less sensual and more touching and even romantic in its original context of dramatic aesthetics. I think it's the faded wings on Cassy' back that makes it, how they just seem to wilt as Mael holds her...SO pretty...

Thank you XD! Yes, there is always an underlying meaning in these piece. Some times they don't come out but I glad that this one did. WE all know that Mael is sex crazy for the right person but more so he is desperate to love and be loved and the whole theme I suppose is the surrender to acceptance of fate. Since Cassy's fate is to be his balance.

Very true -- but in many respects, it could be a lot worse for her. He loves her, he respects her, he treats her very well...he might call himself a monster and might be halfway right, but at least Cassy and his family is first in his mind. You really can't ask a whole lot more than that. If Mael were anything less, THEN I would feel sorry for Cassy...
