This is my LONG OVERDUE commission owed to . DId you ever think I'd get it done? LOL Sorry that you had to wait so long, this school year has been particularly taxing on me and I really haven't had the time to complete it until now.

Anyways this picture depicts Dirt Boss "making" a constructicon out of 's OC Minibeam.

I wanted the pic to have the sense that parts were being added, removed, painted, etc.. I wouldn't say it was painful for her, but moe of a shock than anything. Probably should have drawn in her normal helmet being removed to give the idea that the constructicon helmet is being placed and screwed in, but I suppose that's a bit of lazyness on my part. XD I guess another lazy thing on my part is that I basically used Dirt Boss' stock pose other than a few tweaks here and there. There's just really no other way to pose him in this circumstance. Even in the show he really didn't move his arms (at least when it came to crossing them).

I tried a multitude of new things in this pic. First of all the colouring. I strayed off the normal more "show accurate" way of colouring for a more cinematic feel (you'll never see anything coloured like this in the show). Just wanted to see whtat you guys thought of this mehtod. Not sure if I'll stay with it. Another thing I did was sort of blurr background elements to give a feeling of distance, a technique I've never used. I also wanted to depict TFA's electrostatic paint (paint basically that can become any colour in any region needed) by using a sort of dichrome scheme of constructicon green and purple. I also added a bit electricity to make it "electrostatic". The way I made the electricity was inspired by today's episode of Legend of Korra: Aftermath. (Seriously guys it's an awesome series, go watch it NOW). There were a few scenes with electricity and I thought it was perfect inspiration for what I had to depict. Lastly I played with some lighting effects to make it seem like ther's actually a light hanging overhead.
