So I'm not feeling so great tonight, not really sure why or why not, just not well.Anyways, so in my time of bordom and saddness, I made this (because I was already listening to the song before hand)
If you don't already know, the lyrics are from the song "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails. And non-NIN fans might recognize it from Jonny Cash's remake of the song.
I love both versions personally, and both versions give a very differen sound and feel to them, and just a whole different emotion/type of saddness.
So i designed to to look kinda like an old piece of paper, I don't think it turned out as well as I would have liked, but it's alright. And then added some dirt effects, cracks/crinkles, and of course the words. And of course being the morbid person I am, I had to add some blood. Because I love blood.
And if anything, please read the lyrics. Even if they aren't mine, they are personally my favourite lyrics I have ever read. So many meanings you can take out of them too.

I love the song... it has such deep and real lyrics. If you haven't seen the music video for Cash's version, I'd recommend taking a look at it.
Your editing is pretty good, though some of the blood got cut off.

Yes I have seen Cash's video for it, really good video. Very powerful. Apperantly Trent Reznor cryed when he first saw Cash's version, and then said that this song is no longer mine, but his.

when i saw the title I immediately thought of the johnny cash song....

I like this though. I think it woudl have been way better to have actually written the words instead of overlaying text on it, would have felt way more personal. but I like it

Alot of people tend to think that Cash did it first. Which in a way makes sense because Cash is the more mainstream musician, and its very rare when a more mainstream musician does a cover of a lesser musician.

so why Scarlet Fate? Is there meaning for the name or just something you all liked.

it was the only semi-decent name we could come up with. Our first name was Clocks and Jelly Beans (only because it was literally the only option at the time, and we all agreed if nothing else is better we are using that till we find something.
Personally I really like the name. To me it sounds like what we are. the word Scarlet sounds femanine, and all of our vocals are done by females. and the Fate part makes it sound abit more heavier.
Though because of the "fate" part, half of us don't like it. They think it sounds more like a Hardcore type band then what we are. So they are thinking of other names, trying to keep Scarlet in it though because we all like that word.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the name I mean some of the greatest bands in History just made theirs up, AC/DC for example they pick it b/c that was the letters on one of their sisters sewing or washer machine
