Description Another Fighter from the Concorenian shipyards; this example from the 400 series belongs to the Green Eye Mercenary Group. It was built with and extremely low mass to thrust ratio, enabling for very quick acceleration. They were specially ordered during the war for Merkant, by the Green Eye Group fighting on behalf of the Merkanti rebels. The mercenaries defeated the main force of the occupying Solachians but ran into difficulties finishing off the remaining smaller bases which continued the war using guerrilla tactics. They had been frustrated by several battles with the formerly occupying force in which the Solachians had been able to quickly strike and outrun their enemy before serious fire could be returned or fighters scrambled. The superior mercenary pilots simply couldn't catch up with the Solachian ships or they would have demolished them. The CS FA-405RP was designed to do just that. The first 100 were made in two days and sent straight to the front. The Green Eye Group sent them out in several small carrier cruisers to patrol around the moons of Merkant where they suspected the guerrillas to ambush. Using the same tactics, the Solachians used their quick craft in the hit and run style. The mercenaries where ready and waiting with their new fighters in their quick-launch bays. The Solachian fighter/bombers rose up from the canyons of one of the moons and released a hail of missiles at one of the carriers. Expecting it, they were able to defend against the attack with minimal damage. Imagine the surprise of the Solachians when they found the new fighters right on their tails instead of a making a clean getaway. The Solachians were cut to pieces. Incidentally, the war ended two days later and the Merkanti have lived in peace ever since.
