Yeah, like i said, it was just fan art.
I'll have to do a lot of editing to the sheet and rules before its playable, and keeping it balanced and fun is a whole other thing I need to work on.
And acutally D200 isn't that far of a throw from D20.
If i wanted i could import a lot of stuff from D20 just by adding a zero at the end, and keep track of an extra number. (not going to do that, but tottaly could)
What i don't like about D100 is it becomes a game of D10. So D200 might stick, might not. If it does not test well i won't use it. Might have to go with D20, hopefully not.
Thanks for looking it over though.
Ill let you know when other rules are posted.

Hey. So I saw this over on memebase where you posted it. Only problem was the quality was kinda poor so I couldn't read it. So I dug up the first copy you made I remembered seeing, and deciphered the rest of the sheet from there. I think I got the skill list differently though.
Anyway, I mentioned it to one of my friends, and I got some interest, but since I couldn't find anything, I decided to make some the rules myself. And I can say I have a functioning game system at the moment. The only things I haven't made yet are higher level spells and abilities, mechanical rules for Songs and Items, and a full monster list. But level 1? Said and done.
I don't mean to step on any toes with this or anything. If you asked me now I could tell you the reason I did so was just so I could play it. I apologize for using this without your permission. If however, you want to hear some of my thoughts, I'd be glad to share them.

Ha!
Thats totally cool. I posted this as more of a piece of fan art, and slowly started to add rules.
I never thought anyone would really want to play my game, and you can post and keep playing by any rules you would like. ^.^
If you want I can post a few rules and step by step instructions on Character building, and basic races.
I am working on races and monsters at the moment and would love to share what I've made.
And I would love to hear how you play.
Hopefully its close to what I've already made.

Well, of the top of my head, I think our skills are fairly similar. I think I have stealth and survival instead of swift and combat.
In terms of the main 6 stats, I based it largely off of D&D in terms of points, with 18 being a high score and 10 being a baseline average. I used a +10 instead of +50 for defense to work with that sort of math. I also didn't have armor boost defense, instead I just had heavier armor reduce physical damage better, and cloth armor reduce magic damage better, with light and medium in the middle.
I also made the abilities into maneuvers of sorts, which cost endurance but are weapon based techniques, like shield bashes and spin attacks, in order to parallel with magic. The spells use a structure much like older editions of D&D, with the defender rolling saving throws against caster DC (Will + 10 at level 1). I did limit the effects so they didn't scale as well as the D&D spells though, since those were usually overpowered. I also split them into 4 schools, (Fire/Damage), (Wind/Travel), (Ice/Shielding), (Shadow/illusion). Each class only gets a certain number of schools, which doesn't necessarily limit spell choice, although casting outside your school comes with mana penalties.
I gave most races a few ability bonuses as well as a racial trait, such as Goron's rolling or the like. I used almost all the ones I could find.
In terms of classes, I started with a 4 class system, which was a sliding scale in terms of Armor/Abilities versus Magic. The one at the far end gets the heaviest armor, the most abilities, and no spells, and vice versa at the other. I also had to add one more class since I was having trouble balancing songs (At will thunderstorms? Very useful). And so I ended up with 5.
Overall, I think the main differences we had would be spell casting, skills, abilities. The rest is mostly general system math. Specifically, I'm using fairly low numbers for health and damage. No added mods to any of it. Starting health is around 12, unless particularly tough. Level 1 monster health is around 5, and monster damage is around 3 or 4. I thought it would help cut down on record keeping a fair bit.
Sadly, my friend and I haven't quite gotten started on the game (writing back-stories, what can I say?), but we'll probably have the first session fairly soon. Currently, I'm planning to set the game several years after the events of Twilight Princess. I'm not sure if you've played it, so I'll avoid spoiling anything, but my friend is planning on playing a Zora Sorcerer, of the stealthy variety.
Sorry if that's a bit long winded, I tried to cover things as I though of them. If you have the time, I'd love to hear what you think, and I'd be happy to look over your stuff as well.
Man...that was really long-winded...

We have a few related things going on.
I trying to stay away from using the D20 system as much as possible. One of the reasons I'm using a 100, or two 10 sided die.
Thinking about changing it to a 200 sided as that is actually a bit funner, but no such thing as a 200 sided die and the way I've been doing it is kind of ghetto. Basically roiling two 10 and flipping a coin.
Though I didn't even think of cloth reducing magic damage! Thats a fun idea. Yeah most of the stronger armors tend to slow down the movement of the characters by a few points.
I actually just posted how to build a character if you want to see it.

Its a bit unrefined at the moment, mostly due to the fact I don't have Races, class or abilitys up yet.
Also I've played and beat all the games to-date. ^.^
I love Zelda, Im just a huge fan.

Interesting decision on the d200. I don't think I've ever heard of something like that. Might make numbers a bit confusing though.
I also notice that we handled magic a bit differently, since I used Will as the Magic Casting stat, and Solve as one of the magic defense stats, along with Speed. I actually seperated Speed and Land speed to represent dodging ability versus movement.
The other major thing of note is that your system gives bonus skills for high Proficiency, which is also the stat for ranged attacks and defense. It seems to me like someone who just boosted proficiency to a large degree would end up with strong defense, strong ranged, and a massive skill list with no downsides. I may be overlooking something, but I just wanted to point it out for something to look out for in terms of balance.
